The international conference Architecture and Archaeology in Anatolia: Turkish–Italian Research Cooperation brings together architects, archaeologists and historians to discuss the study, interpretation and conservation of architectural and archaeological heritage. Anatolia, with its extraordinary historical stratification, provides a privileged context for interdisciplinary research, combining archaeological investigation, architectural history, urban morphology and contemporary design methodologies. The conference promotes academic dialogue between Turkish and Italian universities and research institutions, encouraging the exchange of scientific approaches and experiences. Its contributions address the documentation, reconstruction and conservation of archaeological sites and historical buildings, exploring the potential of digital technologies, architectural education and interdisciplinary collaboration. Beyond presenting ongoing research, the event aims to strengthen existing academic relationships and foster new opportunities for joint research initiatives between Italy and Türkiye.
